Zugerberg, Switzerland
The Zugerberg is a small mountian, or large hill (whichever you prefer) just outside the city of Zug. Beautiful vistas and great hiking make it an attractive destination for many.
The Zugerberg is accessible via a "funicular". A funicular is a cable railway designed for climbing steep slopes. It consists of two trains connected by a cable, counter-balancing each other. While one goes up, the other goes down.

The train gives you a great view over the Zugersee.

While hiking, it is common to encounter beautiful pastures, like this.
Which you walk through (as Erin and Elissa are doing here).

And so do the cows...

I would like to point out that the path we took went straight through the center of this herd. This is pretty common here apparently.

One of the hikes takes you (well... me) past this cute little chappel.

The end - thanks for visiting.
