Zug is a small city in Swizterland, situated on the Zugersee (Lake Zug) about half way between Zurich an Lucerne. |

The lake is very pretty and surrounded my relatively small mountains (by Swiss standards). |

My personal favorite section of town is the "Altstadt" (old town) area. Every city in Switzerland seems to have one. Zug's is down by the lake which gives it a lot of character. |

Fountains in Europe seem to be as prevalent as the pigeons... I prefer the fountains. |

This corner is about a block from my apartment. It's a british pub called Mr. Pickwicks, where the British, American and Canadian expats hang out. The Zug version of "Cheers" for English speakers. |

I started visiting some of the historical locations in Zug, like this tower that (I think) was part of a town wall at some point, but I got distracted by other this. Hopefully more Zug pictures soon. |
