Southeaster Condominium - Beachside Atlantic Ocean |
Here's John at the seawall. |
Erin and Elissa before their Space Camp adventure. |
It's too bad they don't like the ocean (haha). |
There's nothing like this where we live. <sigh> |
Gee, a week without the kids. Whatever will we do? |
It's a jellyfish washed up on the beach. Eww. |
The view from the seawall. |
An egret. |
A pelican. |
Florida flowers |
A flying pelican, or two. These birds are HUGE. |
| Deep Sea Fishing Charter - Atlantic Ocean | |
Here we are on our way out to sea. |
Look! A yellow whale! |
Still going out to sea. |
Here's the North Causeway |
Elissa is in her element. |
A view of the Daytona Beach skyline from the ocean. |
I think Space Camp wore Erin out. |
These fish aren't actually from this charter, but one John took earlier in the week. We didn't catch anything in the ocean. All those fish and none were biting. :-( |
| Lighthouse - Ponce de Leon Inlet - South Daytona Beach, FL | |
This is such a cool lighthouse. Last time we were in town I wanted to climb the stairs to the top, but it was just too hot. I was determined to do it this time. |
...but then there's that issue of the million stairs to the top... |
...I can do this... |
...as soon as I rest... |
Looking North from the top of the lighthouse. |
Looking South from the top of the lighthouse. |
Looking DOWN from the top of the lighthouse. |
Looking West from the top of the lighthouse. |
Look at who they let to the top of these things - it's David and his wife! |
