I like many odd things, I have an
odd character and I have an odd taste in friends. I guess you could just call
me an odd person, but I really don’t mind. I’ve sort of warmed up
and gotten used to the reputation over the years and I think I’ve gotten
to like it. I enjoy being thought of as weird. It makes me stand out and be
a little more different then the herds of sheep at my school, who follow trends
and spend there whole life trying to get the popular kids to like them.
Lets start with my friends.
I guess you could call me the social butterfly when it comes to them. I have
friends who are connected to the popular clique, (which under no circumstances
means I’m in it!), Goth and nerd friends which, according to the unwritten
law of students, is the odd or weird clique. There’s also the average
people, whom I feel most comfortable around because they laugh with you and
not at you. But, then there’s the people like me, who aren’t quite
in a group. We’re the social, weird people. None of those people really
care who they hang out with, because as long as the people they hang out with
are good friends, it doesn’t matter. Some examples (The first letter of
the names were substituted for there real names):
- SH is a smart girl
but she is one of my best friends because she’s weird and fun to be
with.
- C is an awesome guy
because he sticks up for me when I need him to. He is a social guy, just like
me.
- AN, I just met recently,
he’s in 8th grade and we have a lot of the same interests. He is also
really cool to talk to.
- N and I have been friends
since 3rd grade and we talk a lot. She is hard to explain and she’s
weird, just like me!
- AR is a sensitive person
that usually hangs with one clique. I’ve known her since 1st grade,
Sometimes she’s confusing, but I think that’s why she’s
one of my best friends.
- S is basically Goth,
but that has no effect on her personality. She is a great person and has a
unique view on many things.
- AS and ASH are pretty
normal overall, but obsess with things! That’s basically it. Lol!
I’ve explained to
you my odd character and my odd friends, but now its time for my odd interests.
I love Egypt, horses, dolphins, monkeys, snakes and ghosts. Interesting mix?
Not yet. I also enjoy poetry, cooking, California, beaches, mountains, hills,
basketball, science, history, lightning, rain, thunderstorms, music and guys.
Let’s put guys into a separate category.

I didn’t mention in there that I like two guys from school, but, one much
more than the other…
